Tiara Yachts Building since 1974.
Leon Slikkers left the family farm at eighteen in 1946 to work at the Chris-Craft plant in Holland and made foreman of the joiner shop. He sold his house to start Slickcraft, sold that to AMF in 1969, and founded Tiara in 1974. It still builds in Holland, now across 800,000 square feet.
