Wellcraft Building since 1955.
Bill Davis and Ed Crafton started on 12-foot skiffs and wooden runabouts in 1955 and were in moulded fibreglass by the early sixties. The Scarab of 1976 is what the name means to most people — helped considerably by a 38 KV appearing weekly on Miami Vice, which put sales up 21 per cent in 1985.
