Bill Barry-Cotter and five boatbuilders started a 38-foot flybridge cruiser in a small factory in northern Sydney in 1980 and moved to the Gold Coast the year it launched. Eight boats in the first full year; exports to the United States by 1983. The Coomera yard covers fourteen hectares.
