Broker Art Kadey sat down with naval architect Jim Krogen in Miami and Krogen sketched, on notebook paper, the boat Kadey wanted for himself. That was the Krogen 42 — built like a commercial shrimp trawler, 206 of them over twenty-two years, and the shape every Kadey-Krogen since has argued from.
