Cobalt Building since 1968.
Pack St. Clair founded it in 1968 and it builds nearly the entire boat in house — metalwork, upholstery, wiring, canvas. That is the basis of the quality argument and of its lead in sterndrives. Malibu bought it in 2017 and left production where it was.
